Ascot Realty real estate developing destroys neighboring property - refuses to repair
Until Wednesday July 19th, the area to the right of the white line was beautifully landscaped with trees and juniper bushes. According to witnesses, one of Ascot's bulldozers plowed onto the property uprooting trees, destroying the professionally landscaped area and reducing the family's front yard to a pile of dirt and rubble (pictured right).

BUFORD - Buford family bordering the "Park at Copper Trail," a new sub-division under development in association with local real estate company Ascot Realty, has lost much of their front lawn by bulldozer.
Neither Gwinnett County, nor Ascot Realty has come forward to help them with the destruction. Members of the family went to Gwinnett County Department of Planning and Development on Thursday July 20th. They were told by Gwinnett County officials that Ascot Realty and its business associates have secured permits and have every right to build on the land.
According to the complainant who chooses not to be identified by name at this point, the County official went on to state that if the construction company did, in fact, disturb and/or damage their land, then they may have a civil case but the County refuses to protect Gwinnett residents from any such damage under any circumstances.
"I can't believe that construction companies can destroy anything they wish on anyone's property and the County officials will do nothing to protect the tax paying victims who reside in their (the construction companies and real estate developers) line of destruction," states the witness whose property has been violated.
"It's unclear to me who I should go to next, but there has to be someone in office who stands to protect the families who pay taxes here in Gwinnett," they add. "Especially during election season."
