He absolutely loves his new sunroom which is flanked by a foyer and a den in his Canterbury floorplan.
Landscaping is a priority for Mr. Palmer. He noted the many evergreens and ornamentals outside the homes in Kensington Creek Manor in Lawrenceville. The community also has a park area with large trees.

There are four floor plans to choose from: the high-end Canterbury, the mid-priced Abbey and Chateau, and the smaller Villa.
Two furnished models are open for perusal: The Canterbury and The Abbey. As in other units, the two are connected by their two-car garages, leaving each living space free standing. Both homes give the appearance of largeness with cathedral and vaulted ceilings throughout.
A third model, the Chateau, will open sometime in February.
The 1,850-square-foot Canterbury, based at $230,000, is decorated in Tuscan style, with the kitchen open to the dining area and great room. The kitchen features Corian counter upgrades and a butler's pantry with glass-front maple-glaze cabinets.
A palladium-style window, along with a gas fireplace are the focal points of the main living area, with its hardwood floors and vaulted ceiling. A small foyer is flanked by a bright sunroom and stately den. The den is the bonus of the Canterbury, Ms. Owens said, and could be used as a third bedroom.
The master bedroom features a bath with a carpeted vanity area and his-and-hers cultured marble vanities which are separated by a lowered dressing table. A pocket door separates the commode and shower, which has the convenience of a built-in seat. The split floor plan places the guest bedroom across the great room from the master. The second bath features a dramatic ceiling line, as well. "This is our most popular plan," Ms. Owens said.
Next door is the 1,700-square-foot Abbey, based at $210,000 -- and the second-most popular. The model is decorated with a cottage theme, making it a little less regal than the Canterbury, but every bit as homey with its pale yellows and greens.
The many-angled ceilings and walls continue in the Abbey, with the geometry extending to the kitchen's L-shaped Corian countertop. Glass-door cabinets are above a wrap-around counter.
The kitchen has a roomier look and, Ms. Owens noted, "lends itself to people who value counter space."
Over a half-wall counter is the dining room which, like the Canterbury, has a plant shelf beneath the vaulted ceiling.
The Abbey has a more prominent foyer, with a small window. The sunroom opens off the great room, which was aglow with a warming gas fire. The Abbey has two master bedrooms, and is ideal for single owners. The "official" master bedroom features a cathedral ceiling and palladium window, and the bath has a walk-n closet.
